Sometimes it’s good to get back to the basics.
Exhibition News’ Mike Trudeau asked several event directors for input into a list of do’s and don’ts of laying out a floor plan. While many of the comments may seem less than rocket science, it’s always a good idea to take a look at a list like this and compare it to those methods you now employ.
For example one of his don’ts is the creation of a floor plan in abstract without considering the practical challenges of the facility, aisle widths and exhibitor stand requirements.
One do was to ensure that you have created a central aisle.
