There was an interesting article in the U.S. Trade Show Executive’s supplement – The World’s Top Ten Convention Centers – 2012. The article written by staff writers Carrie Jensen and Renee Diulio was titled – Space profiles change as flexibility becomes tantamount to growth and success.

The authors addressed the need for more flexibility in the relationship between organizers and facilities. They took the discussion beyond the need to reconfigure space to a discussion of other elements such as: food and beverage, interior design, lighting, seating, signage, sound, technology and green

The article is an insightful read that should open a new level of discussion between organizers and facilities.
