Mobile traffic currently makes up 10% of global internet traffic and is growing exponentially. Yet, according to a Google research study, less than 21% of businesses have an optomized web-site which allows mobile users easy access.

An article published in Mashables – http://mashable.com2012/10/10/mobile-site-small-business/ – articulated two negative results from bad experiences that mobile users have:

1. If your site isn’t optimized for mobile, shoppers (delegates and attendees) will go elsewhere.

2. A bad mobile experience can damage a company’s brand.

In the exhibition world which has quickly embraced mobile technology, this is an important warning of the consequences of not ensuring a positive experience for your web-site visitor.
